Kyle Ten Pas

Kyle is deeply grateful for his Westkirk Presbyterian Church family and cherishes the preaching of God's word he receives from the pulpit every Sunday. Raised in a Reformed Christian home in Waupun, Wisconsin, Kyle's educational journey was rooted in Christian values, attending Christian elementary, middle, and high schools. He furthered his education at Trinity Christian College in Chicago, where he earned a degree in accounting. His commitment to the Reformed church has been a constant throughout his life.

Kyle met his wife Gina in Chicago, where she was also a student at Trinity Christian College. In 2003, the couple moved to Des Moines and became members of Westkirk shortly before 2020. Together, they are raising three children: Abigail, Caleb, and John, all of whom attend or have attended Des Moines Christian School. Kyle serves on the school's Board of Directors, where he contributes his expertise as Treasurer and is a member of the Board Executive Committee.

Professionally, Kyle is a CPA and Partner at KPMG, a global accounting firm that operates in 165 countries and employs over 150,000 people worldwide. His role at Westkirk is equally significant; he is the chairman of the diaconate committee, which addresses the physical and spiritual needs of the congregation. Additionally, he acts as the diaconate liaison to both the Church Life committee and the Evangelism committee, playing a pivotal role in the church's outreach and community life.
