Prayer Commission

Prayer is an absolutely essential ingredient
of a healthy and maturing spiritual relationship with God through
Jesus Christ. Our heavenly Father expects each of us to develop a
vibrant prayer life.
The mission of Westkirk is to know Christ and
to make Him known. Prayers of adoration, confession and
thanksgiving are vital in knowing Christ as we talk and listen to
Him. Prayers of supplication and intercession allow us to lift to
God those persons and concerns that need His divine help.
Including the ministries of Westkirk and its missionaries in these
prayers enable us making Christ known.
Throughout the year the Prayer Commission
will develop activities and events that allow the congregation to
prayer together.
The Prayer Commission has established a
Prayer Room in the Mezzanine area off the hallway between the two
stairwells. Feel free to visit it if you want a quiet place to
pray and meditate.
Each Sunday following the Worship Service
members of the Prayer Commission will be standing in the front of
the Sanctuary to pray with you. Feel free to come to any of us
and ask for prayer.
